I have heard that VIN numbers appear on MB,s not only on the dash stamped VIN emblem and the door jamb stickers but also at several other places on the car,as a deterrent to theft,so where are they?

oH, thanks a lot Mr Bentley,(oh, post a pic when the Bentley arrives will you (plonker).
The point i was making is not that its a secret only known to the ppl that steal your car and chop it, but a common way of checking if all is matching and original to anyone owning or looking to own an MB.

Behind the fuse cover under the rear right seat. Somewhere in the trunk and engine compartment too I think.
