Engine Light On After Service B
I took my car in for a B service yesterday. The check engine light was not on before I took the car but now it is. It was documented at the bottom of a long list of service detail on the ticket. It says that a quick check shows that it needs an o2 sensor. Now is it strange that after I get it back from the dealer that the engine light is on? I did decline about $1200 worth of service they recommended on top of the $400 i dished out yesterday. When the technician called me to tell me about the recommendations he did not mention the o2 sensor. He only mentioned transmission needed to be replaced, pinion seals were leaking and that I needed rear brakes and rotors and new brake fluid. Should I call back and question them about why the check engine light is now on after I bring the car to them? How can an O2 sensor go bad over night?
Do your shifts feel rough? My transmission gives me a rough thump when I shift. I know I need a fluid change, just haven't found the chance yet.
Post the codes if you can.

What am I looking to pay for tranny fluid change?

It is very easy to change. First, remove intake air tubings from both front side of the engine. Remove air filter housing ( the big black casing with Mercedes-Benz words across the things) and you will see the sensor very close to firewalls (it is about 4" in diameter). there is a plastic clip holding to the sensor. Unclip the catch and remove it. Then just pull the electrical connection plug attached to it and remove the MAF. In my case, I need to apply a little movement to ease the sensor because it was stuck. Installation is reverse.
You have to wait for a few starts to get the light off.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Is there a specific brand I should target? I see alot about Bosh. Will these work? ARe the o2 sensors easy to replace also?

My dealer wants $335 total. I think its BS, I can get it done myself for under $150, but I'm too lazy to (the process is considerably more involved than changing the oil). I also think its complete BS when Mercedes says the tranny fluid lasts a lifetime.
First they changed the front tires, no difference.
Then they changed the rear tire, no difference.
Rotated and Rebalanced, no difference.
Inspected the rims, they are fine, still vibrating.
Vibrations are less noticable if the suspension is in Sport II mode, they practically dissapear... I can't figure it out, and Mercedes can't either.
I am planning on getting some 18" AMG rims, but I have a weird feeling that the vibrations will still be there even on the new $4000.00 rims.
Yes, it lowers itself at around 70, 80 mph. Since my car is already lowered, its pimped at 70 mph, but I haven't found anyone willing to take a pic, so I don't know what it looks like.
