2002 S500 (W220) Fuel relay location

Hi wondered if you guys can help a Brit in need. I'm looking to buy a stolen recovered 2002 s500 ( missing seats and trim) last week i heard the car running but on return a week later it now refuses to run. Plenty of life in the battery / fuel in the tank ( although the fuel gauge is reading zero ) i have personally put to gallons of fuel in. The car has good ingnition spark but no fuel coming through. The owner of the garage seems to think that the fuel pump relay may be broken or have been stolen. Does anybody know

1 where is it located ?
2 what colour is it ?
3 part number ?
4 Anyway of bypassing it or testing it ?

Any picture or diagram would be greatly recieved. please e-mail to me if it is still not poss to post on the forum

Many Thanks

my advice to u man, if ur serious about buying it then take it down to a mercedes dealership and have them evaluate they will tell u everything about it like wat it needs or wat it doesnt. they may charge you but in ur case it seems worth it if theres alot thats wrong with it

This car has a very complicated theft protection system, and my guess is, that if it was stolen, and someone tempered with the theft protection sytem, it will be tough to get the car running w/o consulting the DC-garage.

I have been assured that the car was stolen with the keys. So really there shouldn't be a problem. The car turns over and there is good ignition spark but no fuel to the engine. I have been told that it may be a problem with the key communicating with the ignition system as the battery has been disconected for some time. If this is the case would the car still turn over. When i return to view the car again i will try leaving the key in the ignition in the on position then removing and restarting the car. is this the correct procedure for re-communicating the key ?

Thanks Liam
