I Love my 2007 Style Tail Lights
Thought I would post these pics for those of you pondering the idea of updated your tail lights. I will warn you that if you dont buy the stock colors they come in (white, blk, and silver) and have to have them painted they are a pain in the *** to paint. If you want to have them painted and you are looking for perfection stay away from them...

Thanks Big "H" and Schwarz. I mentioned painted those pillars to match the color of my car to my guy at the body shop and he mentioned that it might look a little funny b/c of that small black piece at the top of the pillar that is black might break the flow. But it cant look any worse than those chrome pillars. I think I will probably do that. Also Schwarz, I like the LED thing you have going on under your car. Can you program it so the LED lights will be in sync with the lights that cut on when you lock and unlock the car. I dont think I would want those lights on while I am driving or anything crazy like that...I would just want that 30 second or so illumination when I lock and unlock it.

Its a Lorinser DTM kit. The company I got it from is no longer a distributor for Lorinser so you should probably should just google "lorinser" on the internet to find distributors...if you are interested.

yea i knew what kit it was...just weird. trying to help a friend out...and i thought the dtm kit did not fit on pre2003 cars. so will a 2003 amg kit fit on a 2001 s class? thanks

You should paint your pillar post too. I'm not a fan of chrome on the body. But the lights look sick. You got them done before me. Was it easy to put on by the way? And again where and how much you paid?

Thanks. EBay for $279.00. At the time they were only avail in black, but now they are going for much cheaper and you have the option of black, silver, and white. The price you mentioned seems accurate Mugsy415. Did you ever get things resolved with your rubbing issues?

thanks to benzondubz he sent me some pics of what needs to be done for my rubbing issues. I rarely rub. Havnt rubbed in a about a week. But now I got the pics so when I have time I can show the body shop of what needs to be done.
