there should be 2 plugs, one will fit right in, and the other one is the one that you need the adapter for heres a pic and part number, you will also need the 2 ground cables that go inside this adapter you can pick both up at your local dealer, just ask for the plug which is just a housing, and the ground cable that goes inside after you get these let me know and ill explain it takes like 2 minutes. are these oem bi-xenon headlights by the way
MB PART NUMBER: A 220 545 46 28
this is the only adapter you need, and you slide the ground cable into one of these slots the rest remain empty, you need to get the ground cable to go into this plug, If you dont you will just get empty plug....ground wire is only like 5 bucks when you order, order 2 plugs one for each headlight and 2 ground wires one for each plug.

The Diagram Is A Little Off, Is Only One Of The Headlights Doing This Or Both, The Passenger Side Headlight, Gave Me This Problem, The Ground Is The Third Pin Nearest To The Grill In Not The One On The Outside Like It Is On The Other Side, The Ground Is Not The Same On Both Headlights Like It Shows In The Performance Diagram,.

ok i have the same problem as s500man, kinda. i installed a set of bix lights in my CLK, it also has the same type of problem. before i got the setting changed to xenon=present, the lights would work sometimes and not others, now the right signal has a problem. i know its the headlight because when i plugged in my old halogen light again the signal worked fine and no error message. i also have the two plugs like you guys are talking about. the wiring from the car fits into one, and the other one is just blank. do i the adapter you guys are talking about? and what exactly does this adapter do? ................i'm pretty sure my headlight is screwed though (changed bulbs and doesnt work), is it possible to fix signal part of the light if it is in fact brokeN?
