Why no heated screen
I know this may be a dumb question but does anybody know why Mercedes never fitted a heated screen in the 2000 or later S Class. With the cold weather fast approaching and the miserable job of having to scrap the frost off the car again at 4am on a Monday morning, I am beginning to wish I could find the engineer who thought it would be a good idea not to fit one. My wife's Ford which cost a 10th of the price of the S Class comes with one as standard.

Sorry should of put windshield been over here in the UK to long. I guess only the 2000/2002 models don't have one fitted, all we get is a warm air blower which only works once the motor has warmed up.
