220 vs 221
hi everyone,
Firstly I'd like to thank the active posters on this forum. Reading the posts on this forum gave me the confidence of dealing with a lot of issues that may crop up with my 2005 S-350 which I recently purchased (pre-owned from the dealer with an extended waranty). She had about 60k kms when i bought her and now has about 80k kms (roughly 50k miles). I've had the car for about 3 months now.
A few days ago I have been pondering on the idea of upgrading my ride to a 221 (again, pre-owned - mostly a 2006) and I would like to know your thoughts.
I figure that the upgrade would cost me about $30k which I am willing to spend.
I live in Dubai and prior to this car I owned a 2002 C-240.
Thank you for any heads up that could be shared.
Manan.

Ask yourself why? what is it about the W221 that makes you want it over the W220? Your email simply imply that you want it without any valid reasons why?

Having said that, I decided to stick to my 220 and put some of the money that I was going to spend to better use... waiting on a quote on a Lorinser body kit and a pair of F-01 fenders to start off :-) will take it from there.. I figure it'll take about a month to get the parts shipped over to Dubai.. I'll post some before/after pics once I'm done..
