IMO I would go for it as far as painting the calipers RED they will compliment your tail lights.

You dont need a cut when they add exhausts they usually heat up the bumper and mold it right in looks perfect. Its the same as a cut acutally and that is probably what they refer to as a cut.

i think he wat he ment by cut and polish was a cutter on the clear coat n polish as in waxing:nix:

Why would they cut the clear coat? lol

I read stories how people go for a detail and their cars comes up with Rust showing? is that true?

cutting the clear coat gets deep swirl marks out and makes ur surface like new, idk bout that maybe if they have chips down to the metal?

btw that's really hard to believe that's an 00! You've done a great job

westcoast5 05-13-2008 04:26 AM

thanks guys! Well the cut and polish took about 6 hours according to what my bodyshop did, They had it for about 12 hours total. They washed it and cut, polished, and wax pretty much a whole complete detail and it made a huge difference from before. I got a lot of compliments over the weekend, People could not believe the year when I told them, the all thought it was a 05 or 06 lol maybe I should just say that from now on, lol

Nice kit dude !!

Personally I want to go for a kit that has fog lights.. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.. I got a quote for the Lorinser kit, but I found it to be a little out if reach...

I'm also planning on getting the F-01 fenders.. I think they look awesome :-)

No man, in my opinions if you want some fog lamp

You should go with New WALD or BRABUS

pwrofjoe 10-27-2008 02:21 PM

Looks great! I love that rear bumper... :woowoo:

Dino I 10-28-2008 02:57 PM

Mod looks really nice. Same for the tail light mod - but is that a scratch next to the tail light? How come?

angelglo 10-29-2008 01:28 AM

man, you paid over 1 g for it? i think i sold my compete wald kit including rear spoiler too cheap on craigslist. i sold it to a guy in san jose for 300.00. i should have held out for more $$$. your car looks good. i would have installed my kit but it wouldnt have cleared my driveway as it i steep

westcoast5 10-29-2008 01:59 AM

Dino I scratch?? there is no scratch?

angelglo: Hey! I was the one who called to late for your kit, you told me you sold it, I actually talked to the person that had bought the kit it did not look in that good condition. He bought it and resold it to someone in the east bay. I got mine from someone who was parting out their car. and kit was in good condition when I got it with a couple of small scrapes in the front. I am assuming you still have your car?

Sorry, I misinterpreted the white roof line of that house, which is reflected on your car next to your tail light (not the large one, though) as a scratch. Sorry.

angelglo 11-01-2008 03:55 PM

hey westcoast. i remember talking to you. the front spoiler had thined in the front and the sides had scrape also. other than that the kit was in pretty good condition for 300.00 as there were no cracks. how much did he sell i for?

westcoast5 11-01-2008 07:03 PM

honestly I dont rembember I think some where in the neighborhood of 500 but he kept the truck spoiler which ironicly I would like. Did you have cut outs for an exhaust for the rear skirt?

angelglo 11-03-2008 08:03 AM

yeah, it had the cutouts for the rear xhaust

westcoast5 11-04-2008 01:31 AM

I rembember seeing it then,
