Looking at a S600 Lorinser with 27k for a daily driver. Silver with Charcoal Int.

Welcome to the forum.
You will probably get some good responses from S600 owners and tech who have worked on them, but a search will get you to a good bit of of the answer sooner. The reliability and 3rd party warrantability of S600s (in different years) is covered a lot. See the "search this forum" tab on the main W220 forum page. |

Thanks, I did a search and did not find too much on the Lorinser package. |
Lorinser is an aftermarket tuning company. So I'm guessing this S600 Lorinser w/27k miles is probably worth less than an original S600 w/27k miles. ;)

Thanks, is it just apperance package or any perf gains? |
Would guess the car just went out of warranty. Mileage is very low, price seems just a bit high, probably $38K would be great price. There were some nice advances on the DVD/comand/MP3 system on the 2004 model which is worth getting.
BTW most of those complaints on the 600's were related to pre-2003. Knock on wood, the V12TT seems to be more reliable than the straight V12 of 2000-2002. There is a hilarious guy on this board who has a 'fake brabus replica kit' in his signature. Maybe he would know how much the Lorinser kit is worth! :):) |

I'ds be willing to bet that this car will not sell at this price..S600 or not. This is a wholesalers dream car because it has to be practically given away in order to move. I'd pay low 30's for it. That will give you some bank money for the engine repairs later on. Also This car is out of warranty so I hope you know how to work a wrench. |
Is it certified?

I can put you in contact with the owner of the company if you would like. I would go by the standard s600's value.

My gawd! What an ugly car...but thats just my opinion.
I have to agree that the aftermarket stuff adds nothing to the value of the car... |
