Squeaky Brake Pedal (How to fix?)

My brake pedal squeaks when depressing and releasing. Will simple use of some lubricant get rid of this?

Thanks

yeah, you should be able to clean everything and hit it with some white lithium grease.

keep in mind that the under panel will need to be removed.

Remember the proverb "The squeaky wheel gets the grease".

Have you recently replaced brake pads?

I was hoping I could just pin point it and spray some WD 40. You think that's possible?

Anything's possible. Only one way to find out if WD40 works.

I haven't, but it's not the pads that squeak. It's the brake pedal.

not really, the brake pedal assembly is pretty hidden.

not to mention WD40 is a water dispersant, not a lubricant.

You'll want some white lithium spray grease.

New (to me) S430 AMG

Curious if anyone managed to fix this. I tried lithium grease but it was hard to see in there, didn't work.
