Sorry to muddy it up, but for me it was the U joints.

It is short for Universal Joint which is part of the drive shaft. A one piece drive shaft will have 2 u-joint and a 2 piece will have 3 u-joint etc, etc. It allows the drive shaft to operate at different angles.

Trinsoca: I think Oxy was being sarcastic.

AjKennedy: Did you have to replace the rear drive shaft? I don't see the U joints being available alone, at least I don't see a part number. Please advise. Thanks.

Year and mileage of your car would be good to know.

You mentioned at your first post that there is some creaking when you turn the steering wheel as well. Possibly related or perhaps multiple problems.
You jack up the front wheels and try moving the wheel side to side to see if there is a movement. If there is, try locating where the movement is. I would pay special attention to the outer tie rod ball joint.
Inspect bushing on the front lower arm, look for cracks in the rubber and see if the bushing and of the arm is rubbing at the bracket it is bolted to.

The vibration at 60+ could be several things.
Again, do some visual checking and try to eliminate things. Check both front and rear flexible joint discs at both ends of the propeller shaft for cracks, also the rubber boot bearing at the middle of the propeller shaft for a visible damage. Also take a look at the transmission mount for visible damage and cracks.
