Grab the wires and pull.

Solution?

Are you serious? As you can see, there are no wires involved. If you don't have anything constructive to say, why say anything?"

"Connector" refers to the end of a wire harness. The latch should be replaced as a complete new assembly. I don't understand what you're trying to do, and apparently neither do you. Sounds like it's time to pay a professionally qualified mechanic, you should just stick to checking your oil and putting air in your tires.
