It's Official....Eurocharged Tune

I made my appointment today.
Among some other repairs......my S600 will be tuned next week by John Nouri @ Broadway Performance in NJ with the Eurocharged Stage 1 tune. :word:
I am excited to see the gains....

In August I will be adding the Meziere Pump Cooling Package with trunk reservoir to keep those tuned hp/tq gains at their peak in our hot NJ summers.......

Cool! Let me know how that goes, I was thinking about going with a Eurocharged tune for my S65.

After talking with Jerry and seeing his Dyno charts for the V12TT, I cannot deny the fact that his tune has great gains. He also has premier customer service (not to short change anyone else out there). But at the end of the day, cost is a strong variable and his price beat eveyone's, even at an affiliated shop (Broadway Performance).
On top of that, he will reflash you at no cost anytime you mistakenly have the ECU reset and gives free upgrade tunes.
So that means when I upgrade the ECU software to the Eurocharged Stage II cooling package in August, it's at no charge.....
How great is that?

The cooling package part costs a few pennies, though.

Having one of the first Jerry tunes on my toy, I can assure you that you will NOT be disappointed. I have been running their tune now for almost 2 years, and I really enjoy beating up on all of the old camaros and corvettes at our local cruises:naughty:

As I have mentioned before, I have now drag raced/autocrossed/raod raced her with GREAT results. The road race was kind of a waste as I only had 3 laps before brake fade. Oh what I would do with S65 brakes on my toy:naughty:

Please post back after the tune, and think sticky tires my friend as you are going to need them:D

Vabene7 May 12, 2011 09:54 AM

I actually just replaced my wheels and tires but not because of the tune.
Rims had some pitting and peeling and the tires were wearing pretty low.

I will post up what I think after the Stage 1 is complete. John (Broadway Performance - NJ) and I will be taking it for some road testing that morning...... for sure.

Also deleting the resonators and mufflers a week or two after the tune.

And thanks Classy...I appreciate that.

Hey John long time no talk! No more 600 for me... I'm in the 65 now.

You've gotta let him tune that thing.....

drabux May 18, 2011 06:39 PM

I had my S600 tuned (flashed) by Jerry remotely, since I'm in the UK. Great service matters a lot and this company does it. Performance gains seem to be in line with the big players and much cheaper.

I must admit, I didn't think I would be able to feel this tune while driving.
I just figured it would up the hp/tq and that would be that...
WRONG......
After John at Broadway Performance got all the specs from Jerry, he tuned the car and we went for a test drive....when I got it to open road, holy cow.
The gain was very apparent.
It pulls harder than before and can reach 3 digit speeds in a very short amount of time.
This tune was worth every dollar spent.
Thank you to John at Broadway (who is amazing with custom tuning Mercedes, Ferrari's, Lambo's and everything else under the sun) and thanks to Jerry for getting this software so dialed in.
Very Happy Customer....

P.S. I never got to dyno the car for before and after results due to time restraints. We will dyno the car in the next 2 months, as well as remove the resonators and mufflers and add BMC filters...

John @ Broadway is one of the easiest performance guru's to deal with.
He is truely 100% trustworthy and impressively talented.

congrats dude! have fun and most of all becareful out there :y

drabux May 21, 2011 05:20 PM

Glad to hear the positive results. In truth, I never owned the car long enough to know what stock performance felt like before I had it Eurocharged. It feels plenty fast enough now, though:D

Vabene7 May 21, 2011 09:33 PM

I thougtht the same thing......but the Mod bug gets to me.
And why not have 70 more hp and 110 more tq? Because that's what the tune gets you as per Jerry's dyno records.
So if the pre dyno numbers are acurate for our S600's, it means MB under-rated or cars by a substantial amount.
And if we can agree the S600, stock, dyno's at approx 550hp & 610tq.... plus Eurocharged tune, compliments of Broadway Performance, that equals 620hp and 720tq.
Wow...

Does that = an M5 Killer?
I think so. :wootrock:

P.S. John - I love the 700+hp Porsche Turbo. Sick.

M5 has 300 TQ

Stock S600 already took it.

classyS May 22, 2011 01:26 AM

lol v12, 700+ tq..

4 seats. who said sedans arent fast???

coupes... pffffffffffffffffffffffffffff!!!

trag May 22, 2011 09:10 AM

Does a stock s600 really dyno at 550hp & 610tq?

Vabene7 May 22, 2011 10:45 AM

I think it depends on which Dyno one uses....
Everywhere I read that runs a stock S600 on a dyno gets right between 440-460hp to the wheels.
Using 20% loss (at 460whp), that equates to 575 crank hp.

I cannot promise you my S600 is right there, becasue I didn't dyno the car yesterday, but all of my online searching leads me to believe the 600 series is very under rated.

Take a look here...https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...o-results.html
Post Number 4.

I don't think 620hp/720tq is that far out of line

Many of these tunes are bringing stock s600 near s65 spec, which was 604/738.

Honestly, I cannot say for certain because we didn't dyno the car yet.
I may be off with my hp/tq estimates by a little....but hopefully not all that much....

P.S.... This is the place I went to have the ECU software installed and ABC work done - Broadway Performance (NJ). I had such a great experience....
The owner, John, is no joke with our cars. Knowledgeable, trustworthy and honest.
