Took my car to the Dealer yesterday, and among other items, asked them to look at my rear view mirror. It's loose, and won't stay in place. I assumed there was an easy way to simply tighten it up. Wrong. . .they say it can't be done, and the only solution is a new mirror at a cost of $1250 . Surely that can't be correct??? Anyone else have this happen? I'm inclined to fold up a piece of paper and jam it up between the mirror ball and socket and see if that works.
