Don't Lift

I am only 5' 2" and wished the forward seat position can go farther by 1" - 2". Have tried resetting it by moving it all the way to both extreme positions and holding 2 seconds, but with no changes.

Questions:
1) Is it the right way to reset the seat?
2) Are there different mounting position for the seat?
3) Is there any way to make sure the farthest forward position is the factory limit?
