Thumbs down What's up with Jack?

Most folks can agree on the dig at the W210s in #9...but to comment so poorly on the flagship model W220 like that !? Wow...I'm mean, really, there are so many other cars that come to mind that warrant a rant like that....like most any Range Rover ! Or any of them Bangled BMWs too.

The W220s deserve much better commentary...

I don't know.. I love my car to death, but I kind of feel like MB really cheaped out on this model.. I mean, it just doesn't seem nearly as nice as it should have been.. Though it's not nearly as bad as it's made out to be.. But things like the floor board on the front pass side.. it's non-exsistant.. it's this plastic bucket with no floor, and if you pry up the carpet it's carpet with this big long rubber foot that holds it up.. so when you put your feet on it you can feel it pushing in at spots.. reminds me of an old car with rusty floor pans..

Doesn't have an opinion, does he? At least he flames everyone. One does have to remember that it was bad time in MB’s history… they were drawn to the dark side by Chrysler!

Now, now Jack; let's all sit 'round the ol' campfire and sing Kumbaya.

Cheers,
Jeff

Now that occurs from the state-of-the-art, aerodynamic cowl drainage system inherit in every W220 motorcar!

Cheers,

BTW - I love my W220 as well.

2001 S430
on long road trips i pack my floor jack in case the pressure sensors shoot me an error saying "youre an idiot and stop driving, tires limp."

also, the original factory jack is like this:

U can die by the bullet... or u can die by a skimpy jack.

+1

LOLx2. That IS the wimpyist jack for a modern multi-ton land yacht as ever there was one! Looks like something you'd find in the 'trunk' of a Disneyland Highway of the Future car!

Cheers,
Jeff

When I had my center console arm reset leather replaced they showed me the original leather.. it was paper thin, half the thickness of the new leather.. absolute cheap crap.. It seems like alot of stuff that counts is built well on this car, but alot of the extras are as cheap as they could get it..

96 and 08 911 turbos
meh, had both, liked both, bought face lift cars which probably has a lot to do with it.

whatever, one man's opinion.
