Hi guys! I have been on this thread for about 3 years now and i have read TONS even though i haven't posted much. I Have done a ton of work on my car and i love it to death. Personally i think its a fantastic looking car even though it's 11 years old. Recently I put some money in trying to freshen up the car and bring it into this decade. I updated the headlights to a HID 6000k with auto leveling head lights, Had the CLS ///AMG rims refinished because of massive amounts of curb rash from the previous owner, and updated the tail lights to the new w221 style with matching silver stripe.
Some other things i have done before is change the bumper markers to clear lens with black housing and placed error free LEDs (for some reason still throws an error on drivers side even though it works. Sometimes i just have to leave auto lights off and switch them on manually and then there is no error and they stay on. Help?). I have changed the mirrors lights to the more up to date clearer look (Although after 2 years seems to be gathering yellowish tint. may tint along with bulb marker).
I bought the add on quad exhaust tips and painted the black portion silver but eventually i would much rather quad exhaust tips ( Any Suggestions?)
And for the music i placed 2 Rockford T1's (12 inch, 1600 RMS 3200 Peak) with a Rockford T1500 Amp (1700x1) in a vented rockford box. Granted the box is much to small but i worked with what i had at the time.
The system is all run through the iPhone and no wires were spliced into (kinda sucks at times) and it all can be removed very easily.

Further mods/changes that i have been wanting to do include changing all the lugs to chrome (some rusty takes away from looks of the rims), DRL even though i havent really seen a nice setup for the stock front bumper, Re-tinted to NYC standard (Pulled over too many times), Exhaust when that time comes, rear roof spoiler, and maybe 1 or 2 little things im forgetting.

Anyways these are a couple pics of before and after, as well as the lights and how the updated light looks on the dark purple color.

Thanks for looking :-D

Very nice, sir. Interesting mods to the lights you have there. It is a good looking car, perhaps a few pics in daylight are in order?

Thank You s600 Keith! The car needed its own facelift and i like the look of the LED's certain places on the car. Up next is the license plate light on the trunk

Car looks good. I always keep planning to change things on mine, but life happens! lol I have a set of painted marker lights that I bought from Evosport like the first year i got the car, the other day my wife was about to throw them away I was like WTF? her reply was "well they have been sitting on the shelf forever". I just laughed! We put them back on the shelf again.
