Cool FINALLY - Accomplished retrofitting of Bi-xenons to 2000 S500!!!

Worked together with our main mechanic and managed to wire up the 2003 lights up to my Dad's 2000 S500. Pics of the car to follow!

Smile This is how it was done!

Firstly my disclaimer: I am not responsible for anything that may happen to your lights, car, property, life, etc. if you attempt to do what we did over here. You do these modifications at your own risk!

Now Below is a picture of the old Xenon light which is self-explanatory.

Smile details

Now as you can see in the pic below, the new headlight has 3 sockets. In order to make the new lights work another earth wire has to be connected from the brown earth wire which is already connected to the large connector, from a point before it first enters that connector. You should then still have the existing main connector plus a wire coming off the brown wire which now has to be connected to the first left pin in the socket as shown in the pic below. Then your lights will be operational. We haven't yet fixed the range adjuster (self-leveling) but will do so when we have time. I'll post pics of the car later today.
