02 s430 help
Hi guys,,I need some help on my 02 s430,My wife hit the front of the car so i took it to the bodyshop, got the car fix bought new aftermarket headlights,But my bodyshop guy tells me that in order for him to put the headlights in theres a piece missing on the car that holds the light in place,he said something that goes by the fender inside,in the corner of the lights can somebody tell me whats that call?and were can i buy it..thank you

Or, check with a breaker yard such as http://www.pgauto.com - though many of their parts cars are recked, perhaps the part you need survived in one of them. Better to call them rather than to try to use the catalog; and sending them a photo of what you need may help.

On the outer side of the headlamp assembly, there should be a 1/4" steel ball sticking out. This snaps into a rubber cup (about 1 1/4" square with a round hole in the middle) mounted in a box on the fender. Perhaps the rubber is missing...
