Aftermarket Subwoofer process

Hey guys, i know i know, this topic has been asked to death! Look im very unexperienced in terms of DIY and im also very broke. I have 2 kicker comp subs that i want to put in my car. I just have no idea where to start. I have the amp and my step dad is going to build a box and do the installation. Can someone please please please please please please give me a detailed step by step for how to install two aftermarket subwoofers in the back of my 2000 s430. I just need to know the best way with out wrecking my car. I just want to put them in, connect a few wires and be done. PLEASEEEE

Not sure if it is that simple.... Someone correct me if I am wrong."BUT" the S Class has fiber optic throughout the factory system. I amnot aware of any RCA outputs on the factor head unit so in order to addspeakers the head unit will have to be replaced. I do know that there is acompany by the name of DENSION that makes a Gateway 500S BT for the Merc's butI hear that they are really expensive and I have yet to see any members thathave invested in one. Hope this helps.

PAC convert off the original subwoofer in the rear, this will give you low level inputs to plug into your amp. Normal amp installation for a sub from there.

sell the audio stuff and save for the repairs you will undoubtedly need to do.

just slapping some speakers in there and hooking up a few wires ain't gonna cut it.

Is it really that easy? do i need anything else? Is that what you were able to do to your w220?

If you don't want to tap into wires then just split the audio from your cellphone jack, one side to the tape player and the other side to an RCA and plug that straight into the amp. Feed the cassette wire behind the back of the Comand and hide the RCA wires underneath the door sill to the back of the car. The advantage would be easy installation and it can be removed completely. The disadvantages are you will only get bass from whatever you play through the phone and you will need a bass remote as well as the volume of the voice speakers can be controlled through the steering wheel however the bass will depend on the volume setting the phone is at.
