2006 s600 coil pack

Just replaced the right side coil pack. Dealer wanted 1700 for the oem part. Found it on parts geek.com for 785.00 plus 15 dollars off if you use code save15. The part came in two days free shipping. The part was also oem. Not sure how the dealer can get away with a 1000 extra dollars. Stick with parts geek. Also changed my thermostat and radiator and saved big using parts geek. I've read a lot if bad reviews. I guess I was lucky.

How has your coil worked out for you? Was it a factory part or aftermarket?

Left side coil pack just went. Found the part on eBay for 671 and some change. Ended up being autozone selling the coil pack. Really couldn't believe it. Called and confirmed and it is the right part. Also if you order online through amazon you get 25 dollars for every 100 dollars you spend. With free shipping you can't beat it. Benz dealer is selling the same part for 1100. Smh.

Does the s600 use one coil pack per bank or is that price per cylinder?

I believe it's one coil pack per bank. So a total of two coil packs.
