Three weeks ago, my car got totaled because some dumb lady thought that being in the RIGHT lane with her RIGHT flasher on meant that she could turn LEFT without looking in the mirror/dead spot was the right thing to do.

She hit the back of my car, i lost control, and ended up hitting a light post across the street, my girlfriend ended up at the hospital and she has now lost strength in the right part of her body... not permanently though (THANK GOD). We were five passengers in the car, luckily no one got seriously injured.

Fortunately, there was a police officer who saw the whole thing, but the stupid lady had the boldness to say that it was my fault, that i was speeding, and all bunch of BS.

At first, the insurance gave me 75 hundred for the car, but i wanted to keep it since i have another s500 (Designo one) and i wanted to get some "free" parts, so they ended up offering me 7k, plus 1.2k for the rental of a '13 Passat (that both my girlfriend and I hated) and i get to keep my now totaled S500. Not a bad deal if you ask me.

Still sad that this W220 won't be cruising the streets anymore, in the 50k+ KMs that i had the chance to drive her, not once did she let me stranded in the streets.

That was my first accident (I'm 22), and i was so pissed off at that ***** (sorry for my cursing) but how the hell can you have the nerves to hit me, totaling my car in the process, sending my girlfriend to the hospital, saying i'm lying and leave the scene without apologizing.

Here's a pic of the front, there's more damage at the back (insurance evaluated damages to 12k (frame was bent, so i knew right then that it was done)

Edit: for detailed damages: hood is bent doesn't close at all, right front door is bent doesn't close properly, xenon front right headlight is destroyed, right front fender is dead, right back tail light is broken, right back fender is bent, right back door is hit, front bumper is hit, frame is bent at the front, front right wheel doesn't turn because the fender is sitting on it...

It sounds like the car did its job and protected the passengers. Cars can be replaced although it is sad to see one go.

I'm sorry to hear about your and I know how you feel, but as long as you are okay without any injury, you can get another S Class.

Well I seen the new s class and I was in my w220. TO be honest the side looks exactly the same. I know may be shot on this one but the W220 looks better!! The people in my car assumed it was same car as mine.
Now to get that interior in the W220 . LOL
So know how you feel. One of the best cars in the world

Couldn't have said it better. And as far as the lady, nothing is crueler in nature than the human being. I stopped trying to help it years ago and simply just keep myself protected at all times.
