FS: 2002 s500 w220 electrical issues
It has 150k highway miles. Luxury is the only way to describe this car. Super smooth Airmatic suspension.
Buttons to raise and lower air suspension, change suspension to two different levels of stiffness.
Black leather, massage, heating and cooling seats. Huge backseat tons of legroom.
In steering stereo/phone controls, CD changer in trunk, I think it has navigation but I never used it.
Has original built in Mercedes phone (not activated), has Bluetooth for hooking up your smartphone.
Wood trim paneling with hundreds of other luxury bells and whistles.
The Bad:
The car as a few small dings in the paint. The lower lip on the front bumper has a crack in it. The rims have some curb rash on them.
The Ugly:
While parked at work the sunroof module malfunctioned and caused some kind of short. After that many of the items on electronic components stopped working, radio, sunroof, taillights, etc. I drove it home (without working break lights) and parked it my garage and it has been sitting there for 6 months.
My wife’s reminders to do something with it have recently increased so I towed it to a mechanic. The mechanic says it possible a faulty SAM unit or wiring. It has been an awesome car, and a real eye turner but I do not have the time or money to fix it with the new addition to our family.
The car starts but does not currently drive because the tail lights, and other electronics are not working at full capacity.
If you are a mechanic then this may be great project car for you. This car is being sold as is and should be towed. Asking $5000 or best offer.
