ABC Valveblock O-rings??
im curious to know a place online that i can pick a whole set for the car. I have a 2001 S600. Im looking to take my valve blocks apart soon and replace the O-rings as i get a slight sag on the drivers side.
if anyone can give me exact sizes and quantities, that would be great. Im not afraid to tackle the job but if possibly someone has a diagram of which O-ring belongs to the exact spot on the valve when i remove them
Also what cleaner did you use to clean the valve block and valves when taken apart?
Any special tools or procedures for removal and install? How many liters of Pentosin did you need to top off?
I have Star Diagnostics, should I do a rodeo or just raise the car up and down about 20 times from the button on the dash?
I know this maybe alot of questions but I am hoping to deal with the least amount of problems possible. Any and all info is welcome.
Thank you for your time.
You can search for "hoaz" with his many descriptions on how to do the valve blocks, and on Youtube you can search for videos on how to repair the valve blocks.
I bought mine here. Also got the dished "back up" rings they sell. The sizes were like 8 or 10 thru 17 was the biggest iirc. Get out the calipers ;-)
Careful you don't break the retainer clip between the solenoids when you squeeze it to pull it up and out. Use 2 pairs of pliers.
I used carb spray and compressed air to clean the blocks
It took maybe 3 cans of pentosin to refill, but I also changed a leaking strut while I had it torn down. I did o rings on both front and rear valve blocks.
Didn't rodeo the car just hit the raise button a few times while I drove up and down a hill
Also... A set of metric, crow foot, line wrenches... Is very useful, especially in the rear. I did get those at harbor freight
