W220 srs light on
 

I have a 2003 s500 4matic and a few weeks ago my headlights were on auto and when I started the car the flickered for a few minutes before they would turn on for good. A few days later I noticed a clicking noise when I would start my car in the morning by the driver side seat belt. While it clicks the lights, heat, wipers, seats will not work. The dash says the srs light is on. I have tried the electrical contact cleaner. I also replaced the seat belt because the sound seemed to be coming from the connections with the seat belt and that wasn't it. Anyone have any other ideas I can try? I can't afford to bring it to the dealer right now and it is going to get cold soon and if I don't get it fixed the heat does t always work

Several possibilities - weak battery , bad voltage regulator, a bad front SAM or door control module

Its not the seat belt , that clicking is just a symptom of one of the problem above
