Is There are Shortage of W220 Keys From Germany?
Ordered a replacement key through MB of Tacoma (and paid for it upfront!) for my '05 W220 a couple months ago and was told that there is a severe backorder - I was (at the time) 184th on the backorder list. Checked the other day and I'm still on backorder! Anyone else experiencing a long backorder for a key? Or is it just MB of Tacoma? Thoughts? Moral support? Group hug?

BUMP Has anyone acquired a new W220 key from a dealer recently? I am STILL on back order. Inquiring minds want to know!

I just recently got a non keyless go key for my s55 but I assume you are talking about the keyless version.

Thanks Mike for relaying your experience. Yes, I am waiting for a Keyless-Go replacement key. Just out of curiosity, did you order a standard key? Or a chrome key?

It is a chrome key with included metal key and the dealer received it 3 days after placing the order.
