Hello!

Today my Carsoft scantool arrived very good informational software about car's control modules. I was wondering if theres a way to change/calibrate my cars airmatic suspension values.

I know that in the mercedes STAR system you can test/change values. Can you on carsoft?

Most aftermarket tools don't have the capability of dealer tools or certain functions are poorly implemented. You would have to check on your menu if calibration is there. Also you need to know what you doing. Values you enter in to the star are values read from a special tool that reads wishbone angle

You can easily fudge the angles. Just pick a number in the middle of the range. It won't have any real world affect.

The iCarsoft unit is a terrible tool. You will not be able to change any values (as advertised). Only read values and reset fault codes. It will not connect to all modules. Luckily, I think Airmatic is one of the modules it will connect to, so you can at least monitor values.

Can you diagnose airmatic issues with the icarsoft. For example run tests on airmatic to find specific faults like in star or will it simply say generic airmatic error. ( I already know something is just need to identify if it's the valvebody or other sensor)
