Ok. Put me down for Oct 1st. I was planning to fly down for a wedding but I might as well drive down for the DRL.
It will be on 05 S600. I will start doing some 8k LED swap to make sure you have enough time.
I won't need the whole package so let work out the details later.

Ok, so just the DRL's? I could give you my Benz to use while I work on yours too. When you have a sec, call me so I can ask a few questions too please

If I also get the S63 silver paddle shifter like this, can you try to replace it with stock one ? since the S63's looks a lot better :

I will be able to use either style. The plugs themselves are removed in the installation process

Finally drove all the way from L.A. to Las Vegas to get the paddle shifter modification done by Andrew Pempek ! Andy is a really cool guy and the most important : he know what he is doing !! The paddle shifter control is done by a wireless transmission and receiver. I just use them like any other S55 or S65, my original console gear shifter still work like usual. I bought a used 05 S55 steering wheel with stock button paddle shifter from eBay and get a new C63 peddle shifter from dealer. I just replace the stock button paddle with new C63 paddle shifter. I can not stop to play with it when I drove back to L.A. !! If you are close the Las Vegas and want to do this modification, I am highly recommend Andy !! Andy even let me drive his S class around the town when he is working on my car !! What a cool guy to meet ! I am going to send my headlight to him soon for the headlights mod !! Thanks a lot Andy !!

Hey Andrew, is the paddle shifter doable on a 01 S600? I am not sure if there any difference between the +05 w220 models and the ones below. Wondering if you knew.
Since I'm getting some exhaust work done on mine, the paddle shifter will really be useful in my case.

Andrew's w220 is from 01 or 02 , so your 01 S600 should be ok without any problem.

Andrew can you install the paddies on a regular steering wheel without the paddles ? Same $220 price ?

Yes, ANY W220 chassis car, no problem. To be clear...2000 to 2006 models S430, S500, S600 are all capable of being retrofitted. You can buy a S55 or S65 wheel with paddles already installed, but it's also simple to modify the wheel you have now and put paddles in that one too. Buying a wheel with factory paddles will NOT be the way to get it to work....not at all. It would require refreshing the ECU and TCU and a ton of other parts too. It is not plug and play....not by a long shot. If it was, everyone would just buy a wheel and swap it. Yes, the price is to install both modules and retrofit paddles you would supply in your existing wheel. Same costs, regardless of what model....they all have the same controller system. Private message me for more info or questions....I will gladly text members photos and videos too.

Mercedes Benz S500 W220
Can you text me on Facebook (Rokas Yzf) for help ? I'm from Lithuania so i can't bring it to you..
I recently figured out how to command up and downshift control via a wireless 2 channel receiver that talks to the optic switch assembly inside the shifter of my W220. It receives signals sent from two paddles I installed in the factory steering wheel that are connected to a 2 channel transmitter behind the airbag module. As best I can tell, I am the first one to ever do this on a 220 chassis, as doing so was a challenge because the + and - detents do not activate a contact switch, but rather an optic beam is used! I can't find photos or even discussion anywhere of anyone else having done paddles on these. Instant shifts with no delay either. I'm in Las Vegas if you need help with your own car, just say the word!
