Brake light stay on.
My 2001 S500 brake lights come on as soon when I start on the engine and will not extinguish till I turn off the ignition. The Brake light is on inside instrument cluster . I checked the brake fluid level and its full, the Emergency brake is released . I noticed it happened right after I jumped the car with a portable jumper box? Does any one any ideas, and where can I get a diagram of all the fuse and relay locations ?

Brake lights not working
Now I can check what the missing fuses are for. Do you happen to have a wire schematic on that system ? Thank you again for your thus far.

The only one i have is for the dashboard as that was the issues he was having. So thats the only thing i attempted to find, other than what i already posted.
Sorry i wish i had more but maybe someone else can chime in if they have it.
I just did a quick search on google and came up on this http://www.justanswer.com/mercedes/7...-turn-off.html
not sure if it will be helpful but its a similar issue.

Have you checked your brake light switch? Here is a you tube video from a ML but the S-Class might be in the same general area.
