2006 S500 stalls at full throtle after CPS replacement

The usual CPS sensor issue..no restart when hot...wait until it cooled down to restart. Replaced CPS sensor and problem solved...except now it will stall at full pedal acceleration while driving and punching the gas.

The car idles fine and during normal acceleration there is no noticeable issues...however give it full pedal and it stalls. Pull over to the side of the road and it starts normally as if nothing happened.

Any ideas?

Faulty replacement cps, or you dislodge something during cps replacement

Solved Hard Acceleration Issue

New CPS sensor was bad...My fault as I used a Duralite sensor. Will be returning and getting my money back...DO NOT BuY THIS SENSOR FROM AUTOZONE.

Car runs like new...just hate doing the same job twice! Cleaned the MAF sensor as well.

If you do have to repeat a job, it doesn't get much easier than replacing the CPS...
