Loss of Turbos?

I know I asked this on the other thread, but I feel it's different enough to start a new one. After replacing the plugs on the passenger side, the car has lost a huge amount of power. It feels like it's running on all cylinders, but with no turbos. The MAP and EGR changeover valve also were replaced. The seating on the Intercooler pipes was checked and redone and the battery was undone to reset the computer. I don't know what else to check.

No check engine light, even after a fair bit of driving.

Turbos are back. Best guess, a boost leak that we later solved threw a code that locked open the wastegate and took a certain number of starts to clear.

Where's the boot leak? I lost the turbo too after the passenger side plugs replacement.

Mine ended up being one of the ends of the alloy pipe you have to remove from the intercooler. It wasn't seated on the metal to metal end quite evenly and the clamp on the rubber part at the top of it wasn't tightened. I'm making an assumption about the boost leak because the very first time the car pulled out after changing the plugs, it sounded like it had an exhaust leak, but quickly cleared up. I'm also assuming that the car has a way to lock open the waste gate when it detects an issue. It's my best guess given the circumstances, but without STAR, I'll never know for sure. When the turbos came back, it wasn't immediately after trying a repair. There was no apparent reason, they just came back. About 8-10 starts since the problem. Are your turbos still nonfunctional?

I see. I removed the intercooler on driver side but not on passenger side. On the passenger side it was lifted up then placed back down. I floored at 5k RPM and got it to hit 60mph. In the past, it hits 100mph with no efforts.

I didn't remove the intercooler, I detached the intake connections and lifted it out of the way with the coolant lines still attached. The car took about 8 seconds to get to 60mph without the turbos, but otherwise ran as quiet and smooth as ever. It would make sense if I'm right about the wastegate being locked open from a code, that wouldn't hurt it or make it stumble, just slow. When it went into limp mode from misfires, it ran slightly differently.
