Pentosin CHF11S (ABC Fluid) in the Braking System?!
Just replaced the harmonic balancer on the car,
and just randomly I checked the brake fluid. IT WAS GREEN!
I think someone flushed the brakes with CHF11S
It must have been like that for over 2 years!
Needless to say I replaced it with the proper DOT 4 fluid, but WTF.
The fluid itself looked fine, really clear except green.
My only other guess is that regular brake fluid turned green?
Anyone ever heard of anything like this?!

There is a factory brake fluid that's blue, that's probably what you have in there. The CHF11S has a VERY distinct smell, you shouldn't be able to confuse it with brake fluid.
If you mix regular fluid with the blue it turns green.

For whatever weird reason the feds had, the US federal vehicle standards now prohibit colored brake fluid. That means that the green fluid is not legal US brake fluid.
It used to be common for racers to use ATE blue and ATE yellow fluid in alternating changes. This let you know when the change is completed. Can't do that any more, unless you smuggle in the ATE blue fluid, because you can't legally buy colored brake fluid here.
