2005 S430
2005 S430 Vibration at 2000 RPMs
I have a 2005 S430 with 99,000 miles. It has developed a vibration at 2000 rpms ; seems to be less noticeable as speed is increased. One mechanic believes it is a rotating mass vibration and not related to ignition. He suspects a transmission issue. He believes it is something out of balance. Anyone had this issue with the model and transmission ?

I assume he put and ran the car on a lift to make that assessment?

Most likely it is the transmission mount

15 minutes labor to replace once it's on a lift
