Head unit upgrade for 2004 S430
Hi, this is my first thread, but I'd like to know if anyone has had any experience with this head unit? I'd love to install it, but I need to research the process and systems before I am comfortable doing so. Any help, suggestions, or insight is appreciated.
I drive a 2004 S430 4matic. It is an American version with no AUX or CD changer installed, basic 7" COMAND as far as I can tell, but it is a BOSE system. Bought the car for $5,500 with only 107,000 miles on it. Obviously stored in a garage much if not all of it's life. I am willing to put some money into the car, as I feel I got a good deal, but I haven't seen many solutions for Bluetooth or aux connections with this system, so I'm not even sure whether it's something I can do.

According to emails with a representative from the manufacturer, the unit I previously linked will work perfectly with the S430, but if I buy a fiber optic decoder box to go with it, it is not clear whether I need to purchase the 6m power cable as well or if the decoder box replaces it.
