w220 s430 2000.uk..went in to passenger footwell to jump start my car but there is nowhere to attach the jump cables too after taking out the foot plate..?..is it on the driver side anyone please..?..before i start unscrewing it etc..thanks

yes it's probably driver side in a right hand drive car

do not jump start the car from the floor, just apply battery power there so you can pop the trunk open and access the battery directly
