Will a S55 cluster go on a S500 ??
Hi guys,
The cluster on my 05 S500 has started to flick here and there. With that being said, I do have a same year S55 cluster that I had purchased a while back from a car being parted out. The S55 cluster has less miles than my car. If I understand correctly, the miles should transfer after driving for a few miles. My question is, will the rest of the stuff work ?? Or am I going to need any coding done ?? Thanks in advance as always.

The miles wont transfer you will have a ------ across.
Star would help with coding.
Some people swapped the PCM's between the clusters too.

Hi guys,
Got the new/used cluster in and it shows dashes where the miles are. Also majority of the features my car has do not work so definitely need to code it. There is one problem though. It is not showing the Clock all the way to the right corner. Is it because it needs to be coded ?? Thanks in advance as always.

Did the clock work on the S55? I seen a listing on eBay recently without a working clock.
Which features don't work?

It didn't come off ebay. It was removed off a car in a junkyard last year. The only thing that showed correct was the outside temp. None of the other features worked. When you go under Audio it only showed dashes. Same thing under Nav and Phone. Also where the mileage is, it only showed dashes. I am sending it out along with my unit and have it swapped ...
