less likely but also possible you have a leak in the air line to that strut , or your valve body has a internal leak to that strut |
Ok, I replaced the rear shocks found the compression fitting on top of the rear strut was the problem soapy water found it Thanks for the help

Airmatic
I am a proud owner of a 1999 s430 Mercedes benz. Recently I've changed the two rear struts with used ones but it didn't rise at all. Any help will be appreciated
Thanks in advance |

Thanks in advance in the front fender well isn't pumping get a new pump and relay |
Carlos,
I would suggest that you try what is wrong first, as there are several possible causes for your problem. Some of these include: Blown or faulty fuse. Air leak in the system. Worn compressor seal. Fault in the Airmatic valve block. The more you learn about the Airmatic System, the easier it is to fix. You might start here: https://w220.ee/Airmatic |
I have changed the pump, valve block and two rear shocks.
The pump comes on once I start the car still nothing happens |
The trick is to have it in all four struts, or the pump or something.
I just park up my s class, and 10 minutes later, it's stanced. Looks like one of those hondas that get stuck on speed humps |
