Major ABC Codes HELP NEEDED
 

Hi guys I'm new to this forum and recently bought a 2001 S600. I drove her around for a week and she's been doing great but after the week went by, I started her up one morning and the ABC light came on in red and said "Active Body Control; ABC; Drive Carefully!" I was running late so i decided to drive slowly to work, and in the beginning the ride was very bouncy and it felt like driving a car with shot shocks. The rear was pretty low but still drive-able, after about 5-10 kms later, the car seemed very high off the ground and the struts had locked themselves up at the highest height. I drove around for a week trying to figure out what to do and researched here and had got the car scanned as well. The codes it threw were all four height sensor codes (the car was lowered with a module so didn't think anything of that), all 4 accelerometer sensors, and an ABC Pressure Sensor code. Iv attached a picture with all the codes. Me not knowing much about the ABC system, went ahead and paid an arm and a leg for the full pressure sensor valve unit that has the accumulator and sensor as well. I just installed it today and the codes are still showing up. I was wondering if anyone could push me to the right direction, is it the ABC control module thats not working? Could it be wiring issues? (I think its not because there are so many different sensors going off which leads me to believe its the control module).

@tusabes The fluid level is good, I even topped it off as it was incrementally low, and I just bought the car a month ago so don't really know how old the battery is. Is there a way to check? and whats the proper way to replace the battery as iv heard of the rear modules shorting from battery replacements. Could you also point me to the right direction as to where the main fuses are under the front passenger carpet and how to access that? I thought the main fuses were in the engine bay. Also, where could i get a hold of a SDS computer without going to the dealer?
The height sensors i think are going off as the car is lowered so the sensors reads that the cars height is lower when i did it on purpose.

I had my car randomly set a code for a longitudinal travel sensor, I re-calibrated and rodeo'd and it has been fine since. I would be concerned that all of them have faults, i'd start with checking the power supply to them, or possibly to the ABC controller itself.

Take it to a shop, this system is above the level of the backyard tech if you don't have access to the proper diagrams and diagnostic tools.

Thanks. Did you re-calibrate and rodeo it yourself, if so how did you go about doing that?

I'm a tech at MB, so yes I did it myself but using a factory scanner.
