Question Passenger Window failure

Hey guys,

My 2000 W220 passenger window suddenly stopped working. I parked the car, lowered the window to dissipate summer heat, returned from the store and it would not close. All other windows worked. Stopped, restarted, no luck. Stopped again for about 15 minutes, restarted, no luck. Got home and tried to manually lift the window while activating the switch. I heard a humming for a second or two but it quit and I couldn't duplicate it. Window still wouldn't close. Came inside to try and consult the forums. DCM was possible fault so after about an hour, I went out to see if the seats and mirror worked. No problem. Started the car and lo and behold, the window closed and opened on command. What's the deal? Any ideas?
