S500 trunk lid option HELP
Guys,
I have a weird question. My dad drives 2000 S500, and last month someone hit the car from the back and destroyed trunk lid. So my dad from anger trashed the trunk lid and asked me to buy one from junk yard. I asked him if his trunk had electric close function button, and he does not remember. Guys, how can I distinguish this option based on hinges?

if the lid has springs it’s just power opener without power close

Perhaps "power unlatcher" would be a better term for the manual option. The opening is done by springs, not a powered actuator.
