Question Wiper arm issue - please help

I am trying remove wiper arm on my 2005 S500 4Matic (W220 chasiss). After removing the nuts, the arm does not budge from the spindle at all. I used some penetrating oils, but no luck. Are they very hard to remove? All help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Yes, most older wiper arms get stuck on there pretty good, the shaft is a tapered spline.

They make tools for it, wiper arm pullers that will press on the arm and shaft safely and pull it loose. I usually have good luck by rocking them back and forth pushing down/up, not just pulling it, I'm also a pretty big and strong guy so it helps. It can take a great deal of force, and DO NOT pry under them and risk breaking the windshield.
