star alternatives

I have the entrance position do not drive error, is there anything other than star diagnostics that can clear it I was looking at the icarsoft MB ii would that work?

drive the seat fully forward and back and see what happens. Nothing but SDS will work.

Do I do it with the ignition in the 2 position? I have tried to move the steering column full put and down and holding it. If I get a SDS could it use the c3 multiplexer with any laptop with a serial to USB adapter and xentry software?

Would pulling the fuse to the seat memory module help?
