Low Voltage on Front Lighting Harness
Hello All,
I am troubleshooting some issues related to replacing my worn out Xenon housing on my 01 S55. My Low beams would start flickering on and off after driving for a short distance. I have noticed during testing at the harnesses that all input voltages to the headlights, regardless if the car is running or not, are only 8.6 volts. The voltage at the battery when off is 12 volts and 14 volts when running.
Any ideas if this expected? What would be causing it if this is not "W220 normal"?
Thanks
