S600 - 2002 (D2B Bose) Android Headunit Q's

Hi there, firstly thanks for your time reading and replying, I do appreciate all you can say thanks

I was given a W220 S600 as a Family heirloom

I already purchased a Android w220 head unit , wiring loom , tv unit , front and rear cameras etc , was hoping finding a D2B Adaptor but no luck for 2 years so going to have to bypass the Bose amp which leads to more Questions

1. What would I loose if bypassing D2B loop ( bypass Bose AMP )
2. Will current speakers / Sub be ok and what would be the size or best replacements for the loactions

Items in car currently...

1. Alphine DVD player ( 1DIN ) under rear seat centre base ( flips up to reveal Player )
2. Fax machine ( Possio MP80) in Rear Seat Centre Arm Rest
3. Seperete Mobile private line in rear window parcel shelve
4. Monitor for rear passanger in centre console
5. mobile phone nokia 6310i placements x 2 ( driver arm rest and rear seat centre console )

Forget about D2B adaptors. What you're going to want to do is get the 6-metre copper cable assembly that runs from the head unit to the trunk. You're going to completely bypass that D2B fiber business, including the factory amplifier, and essentially convert your audio system to copper. The head unit's own built-in amp powers the door speakers just fine; you can and probably should remove the factory D2B amplifier from the car. That's what I did with the 2000 S500.

For the 10" rear woofer, I added a 300W amp and set its gain so that it's balanced with the rest of the car. This works very well.
