Dim Low Beams
I have a 2004 S430 4MATIC, with the halogen headlamp assemblies — not bi-Xeon.
I’ve replaced both the high beam and low beam bulbs with Sylvania H7 zXE bulbs.
The high beams are plenty bright, however the low beams are unbearably dim. The images show the high vs low. There is one bright spot on the left side when using the low beams as shown.
Low Beam
High beam
Any input on what is going on would be appreciated. Is this normal from others who have 03-06 w220?

My guess (based upon personal experience) is that the low beam reflectors are no longer reflecting. I bought new aftermarket headlamp units DEPO is a very good brand. You can get several different types of lights - do some serious research before you buy anything.
