Coding/wireing issue on 05 s500 w220.175 and 722.9

Well I drive a 05 s500 w220.175 7 speed trans which am currently trying to figure out right now
Coding/wireing issue on 05 s500 w220.175 and 722.9
I have a 05 s500 w220.175 trans 722.9 lost communication with tcm most likely wiring don't know how to use multi meter like that or am just not getting anything when I run continuity it's in the negatives might have my connections mixed up don't know that's not all I had replace cp with donor cause broke the one it had I know I meed ro flash it but don't have the right tools wat r the ones I need to get am on a limited budget but I understand its ganna run up to least a thousand but it's ok just need to know which one well do the job

To be clear, on this issue, I'm dealing with literally exactly that right now.
The wiring harness can easily be damaged during the removal of the center console. There is a tab in the little storage box at the front you need to push down and out so the wiring harness for the transmission unit doesn't get crushed. That's where you can measure continuity from btw.
If it's not a wiring harness problem, pretty much your only option is to have it towed to the mercedes dealership and have them replace the unit at a cost of ~$1500 unfortunately.

If you don't know how to use a multimeter, go on-line and search how to use multimeter You will find many videos teaching you how to test for continuity, resistance, voltage, etc. If you can't/won't do that, you will not be able to fix the car.
If you have the connectors mixed up (that's actually hard to do), you need to research how to follow wiring color codes.
As tusabes says, you can't do the flashing.

I am aware the brown cable is messed up, as I don't suffer from blindness. Fortunately it's the grounding cable and the connection appears solid.

First off I didn't yank anything out it was on and off and I mean it would not read it then it would read it right it was like that for a bit but then I have no communications and fried chicken I belive am check that cable out I haven't check it from there and some one mention to take it to dealer or wat not well I just order me a topdon smart with the t ninja box I belive that would help me flash or program the module so I do have the tools for it wat I need now is get the right software for the vechle cause I put a donor isn't there a subscription I can pay that can get me the files I need I belive it's around $75 if am not mistaken anything helps
