Nice choice. Do you know what tires the car has on it?

Thanks...I think it will have Continentals of some kind. Seems all the tires so far are Conti's. My S430 came with Bridgestone Potenzas but I not this one.

I'm looking at a new 06 E55 and they too all seem to come with Conti Sport 2's..I'm going to try and swap out for Michelin's as they are a softer riding tire that's also not subject to flat spotting as much as the Conti's.

I was going to switch had I gotten the 18" standard wheels but with the 19" AMG's I will just stay with what they have on them.

Hey Nevada, I know I am super late with the congrats, but man....just gotta say the new car is 100% better looking than the other S you had ordered.

Don't get me wrong, other was sweet, but this one just kinda takes your breath away. The AMG package just completes that white.

Honestly, I just can't stop staring at it.

I ever make it over the border to NV, you gotta take me for a spin.

Please post pic after pic when you get her in the driveway.

WOW!!!

I get the feeling you like this car...

I agree on this car having more curb appeal than the ordered Andorite Grey. When I started looking at inventory as an option this new post of the White AMG jumped off the screen. I called and told them to send me an offer and the rest is history....we closed the deal in about an hour.

You can depend on photos soon...

Jack

Nice . Maybe we should start an Alabaster MB Club. Jack, you can be President. Beautiful. I like the white better than gray of any shade. Congrats.

Great...we will start by requesting a permanent subject in the Sedan forum. After Rickey stops laughing we can overload the forum with pictures of Alabaster White sedans until they relent....:-)

Thanks...

What kind of brushes will you use to clean the 'recessed' part of the spoke?

I need to fly up to Vegas sometime over the summer and we'll get down to the essentials one day

Just curious -- did you cross shop between the BMW 7 Series? I haven't had a chance to extensively test the 'new / restyled' 7er since the 745 was morphed into the 750.

No Ricky...BMW sedans have never been a favorite of mine. I have been a MB buyer since early 70's and have had a Jag and Z3 as second cars but never a serious buyer of either. When I shop it is between MB models more than other cars.

I need to start getting paid. The whole show series was my idea.

Jack---How does the dealer treat it while they wash it? Is it as clean as if you cleaned it yourself?

You are getting paid...you get to enjoy all these pictures and wise remarks...:-)

Probably not...I may touch up a spot here and there, but it is an exterior wash only so I do the inside. I do take it to a full service carwash (hand wash) every so often. My cars do not get very dirty inside or out. Only rain and MB brake dust require me to wash it at all most of the time.

Beautiful!

That's the best looking S550 that I've seen so far. Congratulations.

To tell you the truth, I didn't really like the Andonite Grey color very much, compared to the white one. White catches the eye more than the grey. Congrats, Jack!

I wish the LE was white :/

I don't mess w/ my S much either, but I have picked up a couple of neat tricks to keep it looking sparkling new:

1. Exterior: Get a big California Car Duster (sorry, but they don't make a Nevada Car Duster) and use it whenever your car gets a little dusty.

2. Interior: Get a little California Car Duster (sorry, but they don't make a little Nevada Car Duster either) and use it whenever your interior gets a little dusty.

3. Wheel dust: Get a cheap Wal-Mart car wash mitt and wipe down you wheels every few days.

You will get a great workout (NOT) and your beautiful new car will always look like it just came off the showroom floor. If you really want to go over the top, get a spray bottle of Megiures Quick Detail and do a QD once a week yourself. You will be amazed how long your new car will look like a new car.

Andorite Grey never really appealed to me that much either. I like flint grey much better but the White blows that out of the water. It's funny because on thursday night I saw that car on Ebay, and I showed it to him and he said it was the hottest S ever, and he doesn't like the new S

to Jayhawk on the California Car Duster. We use it all the time whenever we're leaving somewhere on a nice day, or somewhere formal, and don't have time to wash the car. Leaves the car shiny and new in minutes.

Good advice Jay...I have a California Duster (no Nevada Duster available) and use it after windy days here. I use Swifter Duster to clean off the wheels sometimes. But all in all if those wheels would stay clean I could go months without a wash and no one would really know.
