I don't have the interface but it should be straightforward. It has been talked about at Audio & Electronics, perhaps W211 too.

I remember comments about some issues with the first iPhones but a SW update fixed the issue.

2016 GL63 & 2008 S550
The iphone is treated just like an ipod, when plugged into the ipod jack in the glovebox. You still retain the phone features via bluetooth when it's attached; however, the reception can suffer when the device is in the glovebox.
