I would say you would have to pay about $1K more for every one thousand miles less than what my car has on it. For example, a car just like mine with 15K miles on it might get $95K retail. With only 10K miles....$100K retail.
Just my feeling on it. My car is super, super , extra super clean and was updated to the 2008 software and also has the Video in Motion module in place so I would demand at least $90K for mine if someone walked up and wanted to buy it.
I seem to get about 15000 miles on a set of rear tires and 20000 miles on front tires. They are staggered on S600s.

May want to figure out which dealers in your region are likely to start seeing the 2-yr-leased '07 600/65s being returned to dealer....
Would suspect better dealers w/deep repeat cust bases will more often see carefully-maintained '07 600/65 w/<15K mis being returned for new, '09 iterations....
If you find a blk/blk low mile at dealer I would start at $75.

wsh,
this is the exact same thing i told my dealer contact down there. I just cant seem to accept buying a car without a physical check up of it. He did, however, invite me down to inspect myself, or have MBUSA inspect it on my behalf.
pretty odd story behind it as well, apparently it was stolen from the MB MIAMI, and was recovered 7 months later, with nothing wrong with the vehicle.
The vehicle is covered by the remained of the MB Warranty, and the vehicle, as far as i can see, is in good condition.
Im going to continue to talk to this guy and may take a trip down there, and or have MBUSA inspect on my behalf. If god willing, this car will be in my driveway.
As you are already contemplating spending $80K+ would you not obtain more peace of mind with a vehicle with a more reputable history... even if it is a few thousand more?

Life's too short to deal w/"stories" in any signif business tscn...
Suspect any competent dealer (and would rather buy from a well-reputed MB dealer) in a more "reputable" urban region (don't know many less legit places than FL/LV/LA/SD
) will, over next few mths, have several '07 600/65 being returned by known repeat custs after a 2yr lease....would rather sort through those cars....and, if needed, pay a few dollars more....let's not forget that $100K cars are discretionary....be as picky/skeptical as desired....we're in a recession/credit crisis....tremendous downward pressure exists on prices of any new/used car, incl MB/Ferrari, etc....Good luck....more importantly, would perform careful due diligence before signing to anything....
This will be reported on CARFAX and AUTOCHECK. $85k is too much. Also when it comes time to trade or sell in a few years this will be a huge issue for dealers and endbuyers and likely will cost you additional $10k depreciation on sell side. The car might be perfect but that blemish on the record will scare buyers. If you find the car is perfect through independent inspection $75k is top I would pay. Take your time. It should be easy to find blk/blk low mi no story for 85.

exactly. Used will always be used, whether or not it was CPO, its still used. This kind of deal, compares to hitting on 17.

thanks for this post. Im going to the email the dealer and discuss this with him. 75 k for a 600 in perfect condition(?) and only 13k miles is a pretty solid deal.
PS: what do all you guys do for a living? just curious as to the standard of people driving these vehicles.
