i have a 07 S550 with premium leather, the black leather already decolored and distorted, look more like grey now, and the leather on the seat area from the front seats are loosen up already

brought it to the dealer and complaint, and the SA was saying that they do got quite alot of complaints about it but MBUSA couldn't do nothing with it

do anyone have the same prob?

More or less I have the same complain:

'the leather on the seat area from the front seats are loosen up already'

28.000 miles and less than 3 years.

Mine still look as new from the factory.

My wife's Designo front driver seat is "loose" but that is normal. The premium leather and Designo leather is very soft and is going to wrinkle. The only thing that you can do to prevent it is to not drive the car.:D:D:D

I second that. Happens to all my 221s running in both tropical and cool climate. Driver's seat started 'loosening' up by 10,000km/6,000mi. Front passenger and rear seats are fine though, especially the front passenger seat which is still like-new due to less use. Is this a sign of good leather or what? If yes, to be honest I'd prefer them not to be like that. The 2 220s we had/have were more tolerant to wear (one had black leather and was even less noticeable).

For 'loose' leather, I'd rather they come like the ones on the G-wagen or the Cayennes (soft leather look option).

anyone have a fix on them?

You can get it reupholstered and it isn't that expensive as it makes the car look really nice. Well in Australia its cheap.

A new seat cover that essentially replaces everthing but the foundation pad costs about $1600.

And that will not fix the problem. I had the dealer replace the driver's side seat covering with a new one and that one also did the same thing.

35000 miles and mine still look new. Daily driver.
